Phoenix is green. Usually the landscape here is brown, brown and brown. But we have gotten a lot of rain this winter, and I can't remember the last time I've seen the mountains so green!

Alex gets a haircut
Alex does not like getting a haircut. It is quite the ordeal, full of tears and a runny nose. Usually one of us has to hold his hands so he doesn't flail about while the barber is trying to cut his hair. After his haircut, he always gets a lollypop, which makes him very happy.
